ImageVisitation has been set for former Lawrenceburg Mayor and Dearborn County Commissioner Paul E. Tremain Sr., Lawrenceburg,  who died Wednesday, Feb. 3. The visitation will take place from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 7, at Fitch-Denney Funeral Home in Greendale.

 Tremain was born Thursday, Sept. 19, 1957, in Bateville, the son of the late Charles and Kay (Gilb)Tremain.

He served his country in the  US Navy, was past Mayor of Lawrenceburg, Knights of Columbus, Lawrenceburg American Legion, Lawrenceburg Fire Dept/ EMT, past Dearborn County Commisioner, past Lawrenceburg Police Officer and an employee of the National Parks Service.

He worked as a teacher for the Lawrenceburg School District.

He is survived by his loving wife, Lori Tremain; son, Paul E. Tremain Jr.; two brothers, Johnnie (Kim) Tremain and Hugh (Annabette) Garner; a sister, Kathy Tremain, and severalnieces and nephews.

Funerl services will be held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Paul E. Tremain Jr. Scholarship Fund.
